Description

This vintage battery-operated Modern Toys Fire Department tin truck is a great addition to any collection. Made in Japan, it features tin, plastic, and rubber materials. As you can see in the photos and videos, the truck is in excellent working condition and measures except the door to the battery compartment had been broken off. The light flashes, the bell dings and the wheels spin. The man on the back of the truck just has gearing to make him move when the truck moves, but that works too. We tried to make a replacement cover, but the plastic was too thin. You can use tape or perhaps use our attempt as a template to make a better replacement to hold the batteries in. I didn't want to put tape on there just for the video demonstration.
