I`m thinking late 40`s ??? FLIP TOP is way cool works This CKO, Georg Kellerman company tin car is officially considered the “Cabriolet Convertible race Car 369″ is 9” long. x 3 3/4 wide. The hand painted figure inside the toy is revealed once the flip switch on the bottom transforms our hardtop into a Cabrio. The car appears to based loosely on Germany’s KDF Car for the people (pre-volkswagen ). Flip top is fully functional. CKO or Georg Kellerman and Company was based out of Nuremberg and started in 1910 . He was a former Karl Bub employee and then founded his own company. A fantastic vintage collectible ! Pretty darn straight There are scratches with paint loss rust spots bottom frame has rust The flip side I think there was a windshield that is missing. Friction is loose, It mite be a wind-up somehow as there is a gear I can see I`m not going to mess with it new owner can, Still displays good. Pictures are part of the Description.
