TIN 50'S B.OP MYSTERY TRAILWAYS BUS, YONEZAWA, JAPAN Description Up for auction is a vintage tin battery operated Mystery Trailways bus made by Yonezawa of Japan. The bus measures 12 1/2 inches long (32 cm.) and is complete and all original. It is all tin with the exception of the plastic dome over the front windshield. It takes two D batteries and works very well. When turned on, the bus takes off very quickly with both lights on the top of the bus flashing. The battery case is very clean. The tin is in excellent condition. The chrome is in good shape as well with a little darkening. This is an odd and unusual bus by one of the great masters of Japanese tin toymaking, Yonezawa. It is pictured on the 150 of the terrific Kurt M. Resch book A World of Bus Toys and Models. HA 195 061724 264/110 From Wiki.: Greyhound Lines, Inc.
