Description

I believe this toy is from the 1950s. I didn’t test it because honestly looking at the battery terminals I think that they would need a lot of cleaning maybe some repair for it to work but it’s a cool piece nonetheless. Does have a few areas of wear due to age throughout. I think if it did work what would happen is you put 2 D size batteries in switch it on and from my understanding the baby bear would cry and the mama would give the milk to the baby bear and at one point there might’ve been actual liquid in the milk bottle I think the eyes would also have some movement and the mouth. There are no broken pieces that I can see. Overall a pretty cool piece could use a little bit of a cleaning but no strange odors or major defects main thing is if you wanted to work you’re gonna have to put a little bit of effort into it to get it to that point. The arm that holds the baby bottle does move freely when you move it with your hand. Please see pictures for full details. The unit measures about 9 inches tall so it’s fairly good size. And it has a made in Japan stamped on the back near the on off switch. The toy is made mostly of some sort of metal probably tin. And then of course the fabric that is surrounding the piece. And lots of mechanical stuff built into it. Thank you for looking.
