Description
This antique pressed steel HILL CLIMBER TROLLEY CAR is a must-have for collectors of vintage and antique toys. All Original Paint and striping, not perfect but very much Original. No Through Rust, or severe dents or de-formations, please see all the pictures. They are taken of the Actual Trolley that you will receive. As this is well over 100 Years Old I am amazed it has survived and not been lost to time. I believe this was made by CLARK TOYS, in DAYTON OHIO. "HILL CLIMBER TROLLEY TRAIN CAR" and is perfect for display or as a conversation piece. (No friction motor or drive assembly) As I understand the History, D.P. Clark Mfg. was sold out and later became known as Schiebel Toys, which was also located in Dayton, Ohio. Of the Three companies who were all in competition at the time, sadly none of them existed after the Great Depression had occurred. The Trolley is in great shape overall and has been well-preserved over the years, making it a great addition to any collection. In addition to being a unique and rare piece, this toy car also has practical value as it is made of high-quality materials and has a sturdy construction. It is sure to impress anyone who sees it and would make a great gift for any collector or toy enthusiast. Don't miss out on the opportunity to own this very early piece of history.
