This is an Antique Gama Ladybug Wind-up Tin Toy made in Western Germany. This lil ladybug is in very good condition and has extremely minimal wear consistent with age. She still retains her original antenna, which are normally snapped off. It's colors are very bold. The lithographs are extremely crisp and clean. There is no fading whatsoever. Honestly I would consider her New Old Stock because she does not look like she's ever been played with, saw sunlight, and or was displayed. There isn't even any wear on her wheels. All of the tabs are present and accounted for. There is no metal fatigue anywhere on this little gem. The measurements are approximately 4in. L × 2in. W × 1 1/2in. H... On the left hand side near the front is marked Gama. On the right hand (keyhole) side of the ladybug near the front is marked Western Germany. Her wind-up mechanism works well. I can't express how adorable she is. This little ladybug would be perfect for any Entomologist, bug lover, or any tin toy collector.
